| 1. Coach is given a ball by the player, while the player stnds in front of the coach in ready position. The coach will point in one direction. (Right or left) |

| 2. Player drop steps in that direction. A drop step is nothing more than the player turning their body 90 degrees from the starting position in a quick motion. |

| 3. After the initial drop step the player will run straight back away form the coach who will throw the ball in the air to simulate a fly ball. |

| 4. Player will position their body BEHIND the ball and catch the ball over their head on their throwing side. |
|
| 5. As the player is in the process of catching the ball they will move slightly forward towards the direction that they plan on throwing the ball in order to get momentum behind their throw. |
